The production process in our Basic, Advanced, and Premium Publishing Packages is as follows:
Print-on-demand publishers are often confused with vanity printers. Vanity book publishers do not pay royalties, or distribute books, plus they don’t provide marketing or promotional support for the authors. They are printers and make their money on selling you books.
Book Jolt is a publisher we want our authors to succeed – their success is our success! Again we print using both printing methods, Print-on-demand and traditional offset methods depending on the sales of the authors books. Unlike vanity press we do pay royalties, and are constantly having our ear to the Internet discovering better ways to for our authors to sell more books.
Book Jolt offers a full trade discount along with excepting returnable books from booksellers. Self-publishers who don’t have these policies in place find that bookstores will never order books from them. This cost Book Jolt hundreds of dollars per year but we are willing to do it to get into retail sale space.
If your book is a specialty niche subject you will find there are certain stores that specialize in that niche and these are potential outlets. Certain corporations that fit your books speciality would be interested in in the book to distribute to their customers.
Book Jolt makes our profit from selling books. it’s important to us that your book sells. We will do whatever we can to see that that happens.
